i'm learning alot right now about relationships.....some friends and i were talking about conflict/resolution in relationships, and going beyond the borders of discomfort. it's really hard to do because of the "fear factor"--fear of rejection, fear of hurt, fear of ......you fill in the blank! i am now just realizing the need to be honest in all of my relationships, and i feel like i'm just seeing this reality now....how come noone ever taught me this before? i've allowed my fears to guide me and rule my life....yuck! i'm coming to a new and free place...and boy is it HARD!!! sometimes i feel like i'm internally bleeding, esp when the truth comes out! ouch! how much i need the Lord!! He's there with me and for me. thankyou God! i desire to be true to myself and to my friends, i think that is what a really good friend is, and i pray i get there.

5 things i'm thankful for:

1. i am soooooooo thankful that my toe is healed!!! infected toenails are no fun.....so this picture shows what i was doing every day...soaking it in salt water...it hurt soooooo bad!

2. play dates....today the girl's friend andrew is over...Thankyou Lord! they are having fun, ember keeps asking "who wants to be my husband?"
andrew replies "not me."
ember-"but you're a boy! and i'm just pretending."

3. old friends visiting--yep! brenda is in town from alaska! can't wait to see her (she's still sleeping from her long long flight!

4. clean counters in the kitchen

5. naps.-need i say anymore?

i'm still waiting on new pics to somehow arrive in my house, on my computer so i can post them...thus the delay! i've been doing alright the past couple of days....alright meaning, lacking a bunch of things and tempted to shove lots of chocolate into my mouth!! yes, and i gave in a couple of times...oy! oh well...it's one of those times i guess....dont' know what to do really....just wait....and pray.

hAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY TO YA!

well...i'm doing great, and all excited for the dinner we've got planned...gonna have some neighbors over for st. patty's day feast...when i got stuck in a jam...needed more corned beef! oy! so i called a fellow neighbor who might be able to help..- willing to go to the store for me and get the meat?...she was!...but i had no car for her to use...so i asked another neighbor if she could borrow his car..yes?! really? amazing!! and it all came together perfectly and in perfect timing! i love that our community is willing and available..(at least today!) i in need, hopefully when they are in need i am available to give to them..at least for now i gave them some of ryan's homemade scones...yum! ...i love it, the ebb and flow of life!! i am so thankful, and He is so good, so good....lovin life today! blessings to ya!

rain rain rain!
that's all it's been around here for the past two days! but i am thankful, it's good for our earth around here. i am getting oober excited for planting/gardening, and making my yard prettier, as i have stated in previous posts. today mona and i took the girls (e,i, & a) to a growers outlet...in the rain! it was fun, and many ideas were had!! i'm into vines, because i have several trellis' in my back yard. so yeah....i found some past pics of the girls with leg-warmers that my mom made them....i love them, unfortunately they don't know the benefits, tried them on once and took them off...i think they look great, mom you are awesome!!

Spring is in the air!! this morning i took the girls outside and planted some marigold seeds around our tree in the front yard....then planted the black-eyed susan vine at the base of my mailbox...yay! it makes me soooooo incredibly happy to see things grow....i'm hoping nothing kills them, we'll see! anyways...

brighten is getting more and more active everyday, he's 10 months and just officially crawling on all 4's! he loves standing at any coffee table and bang on it and scream. it's never a quite moment around here!- oy!

Life is but a vapor

Today i found out that a classmate from grade school passed away--yet even worse, he was mugged, and now gone. words cannot express the heaviness on my heart, but some of the thoughts i have had are in relation to how quickly we come and go. how short life really is.....it's so sad that i have days where all i can do is whine and complain.....Lord teach me to number my days!
help me to be so thankful to be alive and to live each day to the fullest!
