i don't know how long it has been, but for the last several months, at least, every time i look at the clock it's three consecutive numbers. seriously!?!! yes, mainly 11:11, 2:22, 1:11, 4:44.....
you get the idea. a good friend of mine has been having the same happen to her, and she heard that it was like the Lord telling her "the time is now".
all throughout our trip and still today, the Lord is highlighting specific numbers to me, and i'm intrigued! i'm being wooed! finally! so, the other night i looked in my bible for specific passages that might relate to what the Lord may be telling me at certain times of the day....it's interesting. nothing set in stone yet for me, but i thought that i'd share some interesting verses i found in the 222 area.
john 2:22
"Therefore, when He had risen from the dead His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus said."
the time is now to believe! believe His word. believe the Scripture. Believe!
2 Sam 2:22
"the Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer."
Now is the time!--He is our Rock, Fortress, and Deliverer now.

ReplyDeleteit is funny that you should post about this! Trish brought this up in Bible study this spring and I could totally relate! (my "time" has always seemed to be 11:11) I even did what you did: Looked for 11:11 passages. But I still like just the idea(that when I see the time 11:11) it's God saying to me:" I see you and I am with you all the time". But get this! In the car a couple nights ago, the radio was on the classic rock station and it was the Alice Cooper show and he started talking about looking at the clock at times like 11:11! I really just wanted to go home and email the show and let him know what it meant!! but I didn't :\
God is soooooo cool!!!!! He is showing me so much of his love just thru this. That He would set up that encounter for me, makes my heart swell and my smile break out. It's not ever that I look for it. It's always that He surprises me with it. Isn't that just like God?! I am loving His love for me! And by the way, mine is usually 11:11 also.
