Five things i love Friday!!

1. roses! we now have roses in our front yard! (thankyou ramona!)

they are blooming and so pretty!

2. This is ivory's robot "Nellie". i had alot of fun helping put her together for an assignment

for kindergarten. she is made out of all garbage/recyclables.

3. Lilac bush! ramona bought this last year when she went up north...brought it back,

and now the southerners don't know what to make of it! :)

i love it!

and i miss the lilac festival.

4. loved doing the egg-decorating with my girls! they loved it too!

such a fun little event. this was our first year doing it too!

5. big girl Ember. yes, i love her so. her face has changed so much since almost all her

big front teeth are in!! ivory is excited too because she just got her first loose tooth!

.....and boy are we tired!

this is a shot of just one of our evenings this week....these days are exhausting!

happy, full, and tiring!

1. i love my family, i'm very thankful for all of them.

2. i'm thankful for Ember-who will be 7yrs old on sunday!

wow...how time has flown. i'm going to attempt to throw her a birthday party

next weekend for the first time! yikes! it's a big undertaking for me, but i want

her to be blessed and have some fun!

3. i love baby Olivia! she's such a blessing, she sleeps a lot and is such a joy!

4. i love corned beef and cabbage....we realized that we all love it so much, why don't we have it more often? instead of once a year? sheesh!

5. i love to create...so much! i'm making Ember a skirt for her birthday! i just modeled one of her skirts, i'm pretty excited! i hope she will wear it!

i'm also making her a french bulletin board...to hand ALL of her art work on...believe me, there is so much to hang...daily she produces lots and lots of art!

5 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT THIS SEASON

1. shopping!! i just went shopping on black friday for the first time!! woohoo! let's just say,
the kids are set for christmas!! :)

2. decorating the house....one tree up already...one more to go!

3. Gifting! i'm getting really excited already to ship packages and gifts to beloved ones! i am frequenting amazon.com alot these days!! :)

4. food of course! bring on the cookies, right? gonna explore that new martha stewart cookie book i picked up at a yard sale!

5. gathering of friends/family/loved ones! i will miss those far away for sure, but i'm going
to try to make the most of who's around me! looking forward to blessing my russian neighbors, new mexican friends, and american friends near! (i feel so international, gosh i love america!)

Last night was "house-dinner" and mona made dinner and i made dessert.
i was sooooo excited to make this cake, my friend Trish hooked me on it! thanks trish!!

1. Constant Comment Tea- just bought some and forgot how much i love it!

2. my hubs~! he's so wonderful and i love him! i am amazed that he hasn't run away and left us...it get's quite chaotic and loud around here. he's awesome!!

3. ice cream--i bought more....cuz i love it so!! (fav: moose tracks!)

4. granola! i'm experimenting with different recipes to see which i love the best....i'll be sure to post which one is the winner!

1. i love going to see a movie--only to be inspired by the previews!! i love watching about other movies to watch! yep.

2. coffee cake---yum!! housemate jen made some and i'm going to devour it!!

3. silence--when all the kids are quiet..lately i can do nothing else other than soak in it! :)

4. going to the library! i get to do that today! yay!

5. i have loved looking around at all the different crafting blogs out there! (with sewmamasew's giveaway) i am almost inspired! you crafters keep up the good work!!

1. i love family outings! and believe me, we don't have as many as i desire--they get overwhelming!


2. Cherry park! i love that park--yes, we went there today as a family....got $5 pizzas from little caesar's and picnicked! it was great!

3. cappucino's --yes i still love them even when i'm pregnant!~

4. new pics of the kids! i finally got motivated enough to do it!

2. i love the Lord and how He changes the times and the seasons....feeling a change!-change is good, whether we like it or not.

4. i love my new necklace that my friend trish bought for me....it's a beautiful lily-also the meaning of my name! (and my friend Lora made it!)

5. i am loving Brighten's new hair cut! he gets cuter and cuter everyday.

1. i love the olympics!! i am getting all excited and ready to watch every minute i can....i can only watch online unfortunately, but that will have to do!

2. i love having unexpected guests. a well-loved couple from NY came randomly by us today, it was a breath of fresh air!! we love you Bittles!!

3. tomorrow i get to go see tyler perry!!

4. valentine's day....yes i love it and i love loving on people!!

5. i love receiving packages in the mail. thank you to both my moms who sent loving valentine's packages to us! we are blessed!!

1. being real with friends...good talks/updates on life--it's so refreshing!

2. a phone call from a friend far away--the other day i had an unexpected phone call from a friend-just to see how i was doing....wow! that made my day~!

3. shopping at ikea! --yep...going today! :)

4. reading a good book...fictional and non!! i'm reading Love and War by john and stasi eldredge--very very good on marriage! love the rawness!

5. my husband--he is ever giving and thinking of his beloved family. he is so appreciated!

1. i love to cook: my latest was cranberry almond biscotti! it's awesome, and great gift for the neighbors and makes good package presents in the mail!!!

2. loving the peppermint candy!

3. i love to grow plants: my lavender has finally sprouted and i'm so excited!! it smells amazing!

4. the dollar store--great gag gifts to make people smile in the holidays! haha! you know what you are getting from me!! :)

5. the reason for the season: Jesus! i do love Him.

1. friends at my house on thanksgiving!! we had such a good time with 8 adults and 8 children for thanksgiving dinner.

2. i love this season--thanksgiving-christmas are my favorite holidays to celebrate. i love the focus on family and loving each other.

3. i love people!! i really do! i love that God has given me a piece of His heart when i have compassion for people! it's pretty sweet.-i can't contain it!

4. i love that we are starting to decorate for christmas today!! my good friend bought us a christmas tree already!! this is the earliest i've ever had one!!

5. i love to worship Jesus. we had a sweet time of singing together, and i love just belting out my voice to the Lord. such a good feeling!

1. Jesus--He is a good leader! especially when i don't know what the heck is going on!! i can trust His leadership!

2. Ivory--my second daughter holding this bunny, she is a lover of babies, tickles, and laughing!

3. Vacation!-we have one coming up soon, i cannot wait!

4. friends--again, in this season i am truly appreciative of my friends...they bring much peace and comfort to my weary, rejected heart.

1. i love my daughter ember--she's 5 and coming alive with life, imagination, creativity! i love her and this stage that she's in! so much fun!! she went to bed last night telling me she couldn't wait to find fireflies and catch them in a jar and make them a home! what a sweetie!

2. july--this is the coolest july yet and i love it here in south carolina! windows open at night...it's really really nice!

3. quiet mornings--nothing like a good meditation, coffee sippin morning time!

4. cleaning, yup--nothing makes me feel better faster!

5. good friends--props to j&j, can't wait to hang out/eat tonight!!
